Dr. Peter Atta Amoah is a highly skilled Health Physicist and Radiation Protection Specialist with extensive expertise in nuclear safety, environmental radiation monitoring, and risk assessment. He holds a PhD in Nuclear Physics and Engineering from Tomsk Polytechnic University, Russia. His research focuses on optimizing alpha spectrometry techniques for enhanced radiological detection and analysis.

With over a decade of experience at the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission (GAEC), Dr. Amoah has led critical projects on radiological impact assessments, radiation safety protocols, and environmental monitoring, ensuring compliance with international standards. He is a proactive researcher and collaborator, actively engaging with global institutions such as the IAEA on nuclear safety initiatives.

His contributions include peer-reviewed publications on alpha spectrometry efficiency and radon gas studies, as well as participation in international conferences and workshops.
